When Minnesota hits 60 degrees for the first time you’re out, you’re about and you’re in one of the best places you could be if you arrive at BRASA. Comfort food at it’s finest, BRASA Premium Rotisserie focuses on a simplistic environment where the food does the talking--and boy does it do the talking.
Known for their rotisserie chicken (of course), rubbed with their specialty roasted whole creole dry rub, there is a wealth of eats at BRASAthat give you comfort in more ways than one. The food would speak for itself whether on a doctored plate or a styrofoam to-go box, hell your kitchen counter, you’d be OK to feel guilty about eating here.
Of course you don’t have to. All of their meats, eggs and dairy are 100% natural, most of which is sourced locally. Check out their fair trade coffee, Cafe con Leche is our favorite, and sample in-season veggies and baked goods from scratch.
When we dropped in, we sampled the pulled chicken, smothered in a light cream and pepper gravy, collard greens with smoked chicken, rice and peas with sofrito and ham and the slow roasted pork sandwich with cilantro, pickles and the house green sauce.
And that’s just the food. Excellent service at all angles with an open concept, where you’re covered with a rustic vibe of wood and metal combo tables but accessible to the outdoors via the open garage style doors.
We know we sound like a giddy food blogger here but it’s tough not to when the environment matches the food perfectly. Which is quality at every turn. Scratch made, refined and comfortable.
May we die and go to heaven with endless sides from BRASA.
