Good service. You know it when you see it and you definitely know when you don’t. To be taken care of while enjoying your meal is part of the reason you went out in the first place, otherwise you could just as well heat up some pizza rolls in the microwave and stay home.
The Bluestem Bar, connected to the French Meadow Bakery, understands that. Dining out isn’t simply about the food. It’s about the experience. The person you’ll meet for the first time and trust to know about the specials, offer you a beverage and deliver your entree in a reasonable amount of time is a vital cog in the machine that makes that experience a good one.
And the servers here deliver on that every time.
Bluestem’s food is phenomenal. With choices like their organic healing plate, a combo of grilled tempeh, brown rice, sautéed greens, mashed sweet potato, coleslaw and a balsamic reduction, you can’t go wrong. But what you’ll see in reviews online and experience yourself upon visiting this place, is that you never feel like you aren’t being taken care of.
This place makes us comment on how nice the person serving us was and then has us chatting about the food on the way home. It’s that good. You’d be hard pressed to find a better place for breakfast or lunch.
